Custom Made Orthoses 度身訂造矯形鞋墊
Just like eyeglasses, our feet may be "out of focus" and need some orthotic devices to get them back in shape. At the California Foot and Ankle Medical Center, we provide detailed examination of your feet and pressure distribution and positioning and posture...etc, such that we can prescribe a tailor-fit custom foot orthoses to bring your feet back in proper alignment, and thus get you walk better.
Diabetic Foot Care 糖尿病足部護理
About 10% of Hong Kong population has diabetes, and up to 25% of those would develope diabetic foot complication. In the USA, diabetic foot screening and foot care programs are well developed, aim at prevention of foot ulceration and early detection of problems. We provide diabetic foot screenings, educations, prevention tips, treatments, diabetic accommodative orthosis, wound managements, etc.
Children Foot Care 兒童足部護理
Love feet for life! Our feet help us get around all our lives! Early examination and detection of any foot conditions or any biomechanic (posture & positioning) abnormalities can help reduce problems later in life. In-toeing, out-toeing, knock-knees, flatfeet, achy-legs, frequent falls, easy tiresome, etc...may be corrected with simple measures. Bring your child for pediatric foot screening if you have any questions.
Senior Foot Care 長者足部護理
A recent study showed that 60% of elderly has plantar hyperkeratotic lesion (callus), another study revealed that fungal nail problem is very common among elderlies.. These seems simple and common conditions can cause lots of discomfort and potential injuries and infections of their feet. In April 2009, we began a Senior Day program where we provide basic foot care to those who are 65 years old and above at the government hospital rate on certain Wednesdays. We strive to bring the awareness of senior foot care to the public.

3-D Foot Scanner 多方位立體足部掃瞄器
The 3 dimensional corrective foot CAD-CAM system composed of a professional foot correction CAD software and an orthotic milling CAM software. It accurately and efficiently capture the 3-D image of your feet in neutral position. The scanning takes less than 10 seconds with accuracy of 0.5mm. It is a virtual capturing and fitting of your feet for custom foot orthoses in lieu of the traditional plaster casting and foambox molding.

Monochromic Light Therapy 單色光線治療
The is a non-invasive, drug-free device that delivers Monochromatic InfraRed Energy (MIRETM) through infrared light-emitting diodes, with a wavelength of 890 nm, mounted in flexible therapy pads. When the therapy pads are placed in direct contact with the skin, the invisible infrared light is absorbed by cells in the body and blood vessels begin to dilate, resulting in increased circulation in that area. Increased blood circulation stimulates healing and relieves pain.
紅外線治療儀是非創傷性﹑無須使用藥物的治療儀, 經治療墊上的紅外線發光二極管, 釋放單色紅外線能量(MIRETM) , 波長範圍達890nm。 這些紅外線不為肉眼所見, 當人體皮膚接觸到治療墊時, 紅外線會被人體細胞吸收, 使血管擴張, 加速局部血液循環, 有助傷口復原和減輕痛楚。
Cryo-Therapy 冷凍治療法
The cryopen works with the principle of Joule-Thomson Effect. It directly applies -89oC liquid N2O on tissue targeted to be ablated. Pressurised cartridge permits liquid N2O to be delivered with a constant pressure, precisely at 55 bar.
With the PEEK micro-applicator, precision of tissue ablation can be in terms of millieter.
冷凍筆把焦耳-湯姆森效應(Joule-Thomson Effect)應用於皮膚科冷凍治療上。它以加壓氣蕊把攝氏零下89度的液態氧化亞氮, (N2O , 即俗稱笑氣)直接嘖灑於病灶上。在這低溫的環境中只有膠原纖維及纖維母細胞會被選擇性地保存下來。亦因如此, 即使病灶被完全摧毀, 疤痕亦不會明顯。
冷凍筆憑著納米技術, 以雷射氣化聚醚醚酮樹脂(PEEK)而製成微型觸頭, 令它擁有前所未有的準確性。
